Description
Sweet Potato Flour are rich in protein, starch, pectin, cellulose, amino acids, vitamins, and minerals. Their sugar content reaches 15%–20%. Known as “longevity food,” sweet potatoes are packed with dietary fiber. They prevent sugar from converting into fat, promote gastrointestinal motility, and help prevent constipation. Sweet potatoes also protect human organs and mucous membranes. Sweet potato flour is finely ground from dehydrated sweet potato grains.
The process of making dehydrated sweet potatoes begins with selecting fresh, pollution-free, and insect-free sweet potatoes. These raw materials are handpicked and washed using a high-pressure water pump. After washing, the sweet potatoes go through a roller peeler and are manually processed at the pre-treatment table. The semi-finished products are inspected manually before entering the automatic vegetable cutter for pelletizing.
The chopped sweet potatoes are then disinfected in a sterilization tank. Afterward, they are blanched and cut by high temperature, followed by cooling in a cooling pool. A centrifugal water shaker removes surface moisture before the sweet potatoes enter the oven for drying. During drying, the temperature is carefully controlled to ensure proper color and moisture levels. Once dried and cooled, the sweet potatoes are packaged in double-layer plastic bags.
After the product cools in the cooling room, it is stored in a warehouse for further use.
